She Already Knew She Was Going. She Just Did Not Have the Roadmap Yet.
She Already Knew She Was Going. She Just Did Not Have the Roadmap Yet.

My daughters were in the fourth grade when they decided.
They came with me to a college readiness program and watched young adults walk across a room holding acceptance letters. And something ignited. Not a vague aspiration — something specific. Something that said: I am going. I do not know how yet. But I am going.
That moment is where Queen Moves begins. Not at the application portal. Not at the campus visit. At the moment a young woman decides — sometimes years before anyone else takes it seriously — that she is college-bound.
The Problem with How We Prepare Young Women for College
The college preparation process was not designed with her in mind. It was designed for the student who has college-educated parents who know which questions to ask, who understand the difference between early decision and early action, who have already visited campuses and know what to look for. The young woman who is the first, or the most determined, or the one carrying the family’s hopes — she is navigating a process that was never mapped out for her.
And so she figures it out. She asks around. She misses deadlines she did not know existed. She applies to schools that were not the right fit because she did not know what fit looked like. She gets accepted somewhere and arrives without the preparation she deserved.
What the FAR Framework™ Does
Queen Moves: The Ultimate College Prep Guide for Young Ladies — Lead with Confidence, Plan with Purpose, Rise Empowered is built around the FAR Framework™ — three words in a specific sequence.
Rhythm. Alignment. Flow.
Your environment creates your Rhythm. The structures, supports, and systems around a young woman — her school, her home, her community — shape her daily patterns. When those patterns are intentional, they become the ground she builds from.
Rhythm, practiced with intention, produces Alignment. She begins to see how what she does daily connects to where she is going. How the grades, the activities, the relationships, the choices — all of it aligns with or pulls away from the future she has named.
Alignment unlocks Flow. The college preparation process stops feeling like a series of disconnected tasks and starts feeling like a pathway with logic and momentum. She is not reacting to deadlines. She is moving.
Who This Book Is For
Queen Moves is for the young woman who already knows she is going — and needs someone to show her how. It is for the mother who wants to walk alongside her daughter through a process that was not designed with either of them in mind. It is for the counselor who knows her students have what it takes and needs a framework to build around them.
College preparation season is opening. The young woman who will apply this fall is already behind if she started this month. The young woman who will apply next year has exactly the right amount of time — if she starts now.
