What Ninety Days of Unweaving Produced.

And Why the Next 100 Days Will Be Different.

I started The Unweaving on July 1st.

I did not know exactly what I was starting. I knew it was a public commitment to something I had been doing privately for a long time — the slow, deliberate work of pulling apart what was not mine, setting down what I had been carrying, and returning to the woman who had been waiting underneath all of it. I called it The Unweaving because that was what it required.

Eighty-three days later, I can tell you what it produced.

What the Unweaving Produced

The W.E.B. body of work — three books, three pillars, three distinct audiences — is the clearest and most organized it has ever been. W.E.B. of Wisdom as the foundational transformation text. The Return Before the Ready as the reflective memoir that positions women to go back and find themselves. Before It Follows You as the safeguard that reaches young women before they ever need the memoir.

The faculty applications are moving. I submitted my application for Dean of the College of Business and Entrepreneurship at SUNY Oswego the same day the posting came available. I sent a faculty proposal letter to OCC’s Dean of Business, Arts and Science. I submitted an adjunct application for ENT-101 and ENT-201. I sent introductory letters to SUNY Poly and OCC’s president.

I have been on stage twice in the past three weeks — telling my story to real rooms. Twenty years ago I said I would be on a stage telling my story. September 4th was the first event. Last week was the second. The Unweaving did not create those opportunities. It created the version of me who could step into them without hesitation.

What the 100 Days Will Be

The Unweaving was the dismantling. The 100 Days of Alignment — beginning October 1 — is the building. Not starting over. Starting deeper. The framework is in place. The clarity is real. The life is already unfolding in ways I could not have predicted in July.

Joy is the vantage point. Victory is the frame. I may fly over the pain but I refuse to nest in it. The 100 Days will document what alignment produces — in wellness, in scholarship, in business, in speaking, in consulting — in real time, with full honesty, while it is still happening.

Seven more days. Then October 1. Stay close. 🕸️
